Delan Bruce is an experienced writer and editor for UCLA Magazine, the university’s flagship publication. He writes about the arts, economics, food, law, music, social justice and, of course, sports. Before arriving at UCLA, he worked at SAG-AFTRA, the world’s largest union of performers and media professionals. Over the course of his career, Delan has worked in industries spanning education, human resources and tech startups. A native Angeleno, he holds a bachelor’s in English education from Cal Poly Pomona. Delan has lived on three continents and loves to travel, collect vinyl records, and root for his beloved Lakers and Dodgers.
